Our Partnership with SickKids

Our strategic marketing plan we have implemented is based on our target audience which is catered towards kids. We hope to make our cafe a home for everyone no matter the age, so it’s our goal to be inclusive. We bake fresh cookies everyday and decorate them as fun characters to represent the SickKids foundation. We have anything from Disney to Marvel characters. 50 cents of each cookie will be donated to the SickKids foundation. We chose to partner with SickKids as we are very passionate with donating some of our proceeds for a good, non-profitable cause.

We believe that decorating these cookies with fun cartoon characters will represent the good cause we are trying to promote and allows us to be inclusive to all of our customers, including the children. SickKids is a foundation created to help children battle life-threatening illnesses to help them conquer their battles. We believe everyone should have a chance to life, especially those of a young age. We hope to be able to make an impact on these children. In our cafe, we will have have a wall of children who have won their battle with cancer to hopefully help promote how we can change a child’s life by one small purchase of our delicious, fun cookies. We know that kids will enjoy coming in every week to pick up one of our sugar cookies. We will be selling a new character every 2 days for only $2.

On top of our partnership, we will be having a small suggestion box where kids can put in a ballot of suggestion of their favourite characters and they will be able to come in and see if their ballot got picked. It’s an exciting experience for kids and it helps motivate them at a young age to help others out especially those who are in need. We hope to inspire kids and adults and educate them on the foundation and what our Cafe is all about, which is not only profitable but also non-profit aspects.

Part of your profits will be donated to SickKids foundation.

Their hospital is currently over 70 years old, children are crammed in over crowded rooms and outdated rooms. We hope to expand our hospital and make it feel more at home for those children that the hospital is their home. By expanding the hospital, they hope to be able to take in at least 150 more patients. Kids will also have more activities and more ways to spend their visit/stay at SickKids. Their goal is to make it feel less like a hospital and more like a temporary home.
